Montana, ExxonMobil close $1.6M oil-spill settlement

ExxonMobil's $1.6 million settlement with Montana over water-pollution violations stemming from the Yellowstone River pipeline spill last year has been finalized, according to state regulators. The company has yet to be fined for wildlife damages and the loss of public access to the river during cleanup operations.
