Cinnabon and Auntie Anne's to expand blended concept

Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon opened co-branded units in Anaheim, Calif., and Livermore, Calif., late last year, expanding menu options and sharing expensive retail space. The combination of the two brands, both owned by parent company Focus Brands, is an experiment in blending and expanding menus and daypart offerings, including a cafe menu with new panini-style sandwiches and premium pretzel hot dogs. The company plans to open four additional Auntie Anne's Cinnabon Cafés in New Jersey, South Carolina and Pennsylvania by May.
