Emotional eating makes it difficult to keep weight in check

A survey by the Consumer Reports National Research Center revealed participants who followed any of 13 diet plans could lose weight, with an average weight loss of 18 pounds in men and 15 pounds in women. However, emotional eating appeared to be a big hurdle in keeping the pounds off, researchers said. The results appear in Consumer Reports magazine and online.
