A plan to relocate a YMCA to the waterfront in Pensacola, Fla., could be on the fast track to a City Council vote because of support from city officials and business leaders. "It will spur economic growth, enhances the quality of life of Pensacola, and I think it will help us expand our programming to meet the needs of the citizens of our community," said Steve Williams, board chairman of the YMCA. "It is a win-win for the Y and for the community." However, critics have questioned financial and parking aspects of the plan.
