Korean Air makes move to buy stake in struggling Czech Airlines

Korean Air has entered a bid for a 44% stake in state-run Czech Airlines as part of its plan to gain access to Eastern European routes, the carrier said Tuesday. Czech Airlines has suffered substantial losses due to competition and fuel prices and has already sold many of its assets.
