Mondelez exec identifies key confectionery markets

Bharat Puri, senior vice president for global chocolate of Mondelez International, said last week that 70% of global confectionery growth will come from eight markets: Brazil, Russia, India, China, Colombia, Vietnam, Turkey and South Africa. All are characterized by young populations and rising incomes.
