FAA budget projects lower spending on Nextgen

The Federal Aviation Administration's proposed $15.4 billion budget includes $300 million for maintenance of existing systems and renews a request for a $100 per flight fee for commercial and business aviation operations. The full-year 2015 budget requests allocations of $836 million for Nextgen funding, a 7.2% decrease when compared with the previous year's budget request.
