HTC launches giving campaign in effort to expand global footprint

HTC has launched the Power to Give campaign as part of a global effort to boost market share. The campaign includes an application that pools unused Android computing power for worthy research. More broadly, the company plans to leverage its singular focus on phones to highlight its design strengths, HTC Vice President of Global Marketing Fiona Naughton said at the Mobile World Congress.
