MU veterinary school to receive $2.5M donation

A couple who own a motorcycle business in St. Louis have committed $2.5 million to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. The school will use the money from Gary Savill and Barbara Stampfli-Savill to create an endowment earmarked for partial scholarships for veterinary students. Recipients must perform 120 hours of animal-centered volunteer work in the community annually.
