Neb. board adopts standards for fine arts curriculum

The Nebraska Board of Education on Tuesday adopted standards for teaching fine arts, including media arts, a move that establishes standards for such curricula. Educators said the vote will spark conversations about how to ensure that the fine arts are included in schools. The state is one of the last to adopt standards for fine arts and one of three to include media arts.
