Wis. industries support high-school manufacturing program

Students at Green Bay West High School will get the chance to learn the manufacturing business first-hand through a program supported by the Northeastern Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. The high school will house the Bay Link Manufacturing program, which will have students welding and fabricating parts for local businesses. "Our hope is that more young people see this and want to pursue those careers," said Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who visited the school recently.
