P&G Spins Off Cooking School

Procter & Gamble has sold Culinary Sol, the cooking school it has operated since January 2001. Amy Tobin, the school's director, acquired Culinary Sol last week. Shedding non-core brands is part of P&G's effort to focus on such profitable brands as Tide detergent, Pantene shampoo and Bounty paper towels.
