FAA will boost oversight of parts manufacturers

The FAA said it generally agreed with a DOT report that recommended that the agency improve its system for overseeing manufacturers that supply aircraft parts. The FAA noted that the report did not identify any "imminent safety issues," but the agency said it will implement the report's recommendations.
