Gates Foundation to fund $100M innovative global health initiative

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is accepting research grant proposals for a $100 million global health initiative focused on infectious diseases, drug resistance, HIV infection and latent tuberculosis infection. The foundation's new Grand Challenges Explorations program plans to award $100,000 to about 60 open-ended, innovative project ideas.
