Prosecco becomes a big deal

Prosecco, once only known as a cocktail ingredient, is now the hot sparkling wine in Los Angeles. Restaurants are serving the Italian bubbly at fast rates and retailers are having a hard time keeping bottles on the shelves. "[Prosecco] is a perfect way to start a meal with that symbolic 'Cin-cin' ['Cheers'] that welcomes all guests to the table," said one Los Angeles restaurant owner.
