Yahoo! sets new formats for Web video spots

Yahoo! has rolled out two new Web video ad formats: clickable ads that overlay videos, and three-second ads that launch simultaneously with a Web video and appear as a banner over the video player. The video ad formats take advantage of technology from Yahoo!'s new unit, Maven Networks, which it acquired last month for $160 million.
