5 potential nominees for national health IT coordinator

The Health Care Blog names five potential candidates for the national coordinator of health information technology who would "encourage innovation and change from the status quo" and "have demonstrated a vision of health care connectedness, quality and efficiency that are in the common, rather than the special, interest." Among the names are Dr. Farzad Mostashari, chairman of New York City's Primary Care Information Project, and Dr. Carol Diamond, managing director of the Markle Foundation's Connecting for Health program.
