Education success celebrated in Afghanistan

More than 2,000 schools have been built in Afghanistan over the past year, and about 1 million new students have enrolled in schools, bringing the total number of students nationwide to 7.2 million for this school year. However, Taliban-related violence is expected to keep 400,000 students out of school.
