Bing gains 425,000 Facebook fans via FarmVille promotion

Microsoft's Bing page on Facebook in one day added 425,000 fans, who responded to an offer to receive currency for the virtual reality game FarmVille if they signed on as fans. The promotion, which more than tripled Bing's fan base on Facebook, was the work of digital agency Deep Focus and brand engagement network Social Vibe.
