DOT to clear way for work to begin on Wisconsin rail line

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood assured Wisconsin lawmakers that stimulus dollars allocated to the state would be released in time for work to begin on a high-speed rail line within two weeks. The state won $822 million to help pay for a Milwaukee-to-Madison high-speed line and other rail projects.
