FCC offers recommendations to fill broadband gap among providers

The Federal Communications Commission is proposing new regulations as part of its National Broadband Plan to help counter the lack of online broadband connections among providers, which are necessary to help them meet meaningful use requirements. The FCC's National Broadband Plan will include recommendations to boost broadband connectivity and improve provider reimbursement processes.
