Canadian province is supporting fish oils-to-biodiesel refinery

The government of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada will provide nearly $90,000 to launch a demonstration biorefinery that will convert fish oils into biodiesel. Experts hope to develop processing techniques to transform waste oils from pelagics, the salmonid aquaculture and the sealing industry into biodiesel feedstocks.
