How to get a good night's sleep

Women are more likely to experience insomnia, and they are also more likely to use sleep medications. Biology and the stresses of the modern world can both make it hard for women to get to sleep, according to Shelby Harris of Montefiore Medical Center. Women can address the stress problem by writing out a to-do list of everything they need to get done so that they won't lie awake thinking about it, she said. Also, women should get up and do something calming if they can't go back to sleep after waking up in the night, experts say.
