Qantas is set to begin its in-flight Internet

Wi-Fi access points and satellite Internet technology are installed on six A380s as Qantas Airways gets set to roll out an eight-week test of the system. "The eight-week trial will give customers the opportunity to access the Internet in exactly the same way as a terrestrial Wi-Fi hot spot in which customers can pay with their credit card and surf the Internet, including the use of e-mail," said Alison Webster, Qantas executive manager for customer experience.
