Calif. Supreme Court declines to hear sign case

The California Supreme Court has declined to hear the appeal of Clear Channel Outdoor on a lower court's order that the company and CBS Outdoor take down about 100 digital billboards in Los Angeles. The company says it put up the signs in the belief it had valid permits, and it has threatened to sue the city for the value of the signs.
