NBCT: Running can help educators in many ways

National Board Certified Teacher Wendi Pillars writes in this commentary that she uses running as a way to relieve stress. However, running has other benefits that can help teachers, she writes, including helping teachers relate to students and teaching them to set goals. Pillars also writes that running can be used to help students relate to lessons, such as using math to determine calories burned and geography in the study of race locations.
