Canada sees increase in donations by deceased patients

Canada saw an 17% increase in organ donations by deceased donors in the decade leading to 2012, according to a report from the Canadian Institute for Health Information. Ronnie Gavsie of Trillium Gift of Life Network said that the skin, corneas, bone, arteries and other tissues of deceased organ donors can help up to 75 people.
