Delta Air Lines plans to turn to Nokia Lumia 1520 devices and Microsoft software for an in-flight point-of-sale system. Flight attendants will be equipped with mobile devices featuring retail applications that are customized for the carrier. "Although we sell seats to passengers, we never really considered ourselves to be in the retail space until recently," said Darrell Haskin, Delta's IT director.
