Feds to study effects of lifting ban on U.S. crude exports, EIA chief says

The Energy Department will look into proposals to remove the existing ban on U.S. crude exports and study the effects of doing so on the country's energy sector, said Energy Information Administration chief Adam Sieminski. "EIA is going to be investigating a number of these things, and we will come out from time to time with reports that should help policymakers understand the issues," he said at IHS CERAWeek in Houston.
