RadioShack defends Super Bowl spot, announces store closures

RadioShack has announced that it will close as many as 1,100 stores after sales and profit fell in Q4. In its earnings call, the chain defended its Super Bowl ad as part of an overall effort to change how customers view its stores. "While it's early days and it will take some time to gain traction, we're very encouraged by the consumer response and the change underway," said CEO Joe Magnacca.
