Terrafugia CEO: Next step is to make flying cars autonomous

At a recent conference held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Terrafugia CEO Carl Dietrich told attendees that the next step for the Transition was to make the flying car autonomous. "We want something that is statistically safer than driving a car," Dietrich said. "It needs to be faster than driving a car. It needs to be simpler to operate than a plane," he continued.
