Sugar -- both added sugar and some that occurs naturally -- should make up 5% or less of a person's total calorie intake each day to help prevent obesity and tooth decay, the World Health Organization said Wednesday in draft guidelines. The sugar-intake recommendation is half the limit set more than 10 years ago.
