What's the price for "world-class" public education?

Giving Ohio students a "world-class" education would cost an additional $2.4 billion to $4.8 billion in new money, or up to $12,000 per pupil, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation found. To get an adequate education in Rhode Island, a new report found that state must increase spending by $94 million, to an average $9,500 per pupil.
