More British elementary students pick up books

Fewer British 9- to 11-year-olds are choosing TV over reading, according to National Foundation for Educational Research data. The survey, which spanned 4,500 children, revealed that just 55% prefer watching television to reading, versus 62% in a similar poll conducted four years ago.
