Oregon lawmakers consider nurse-to-student ratios

Oregon lawmakers are considering a bill that would set statewide nurse-to-student ratios in schools. The state ranks 49th in the nation, with one nurse per 3,142 students. The measure would set aside funds for a school-nurse analysis and to help school districts add nurses to comply with requirements.
