Can software measure effective teaching in New Zealand?

A top school in New Zealand plans to install a software program called EdReflect that will determine which teachers are most effective. The software will gather students' test scores and match students with teachers -- revealing those who taught successful and unsuccessful students. Post Primary Teachers' Association President Robin Duff questioned whether the technology would fairly analyse teachers' work.
