Hotel development project rises in a Virginia neighborhood

A hotel development is slated to open its doors in Crystal City, in Arlington, Va. The 300-room Renaissance Arlington Capital View and 325-suite Residence Inn Arlington Capital View is Crystal City's first hotel development in 20 years, and it is expected to anchor a nearby $1 billion National Gateway mixed-use development project at Potomac Yard. The hotels' design seeks to capture the activity of railways, airports and highways with its undulating patterns of brick and concrete.
