Judge orders Google, Motorola to provide Android data to Apple

Apple won a victory in its patent battles when a federal judge ordered Google and Motorola Mobility to hand over details about the development of Google's Android platform as well as information about Google's pending acquisition of Motorola as part of the discovery process in a lawsuit. The order stems from a patent suit that Apple filed against Motorola in 2010. Motorola has since countersued Apple.
