Zoo animals receive comprehensive dental treatment

Eight veterinary dental specialists from the Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation donated their time, services and equipment to treat animals at the Pueblo Zoo in Colorado. Root canals, extractions and other dental work addressed problems that might have otherwise gone unnoticed, and they will improve the animals' quality of life, said Pueblo Zoo veterinarian Kathy Wolyn.
