Ala. school district launches career programs

Giving students a taste of possible careers and teaching them the skills they'll need after high school are the ideas at heart of a new program unfolding at Alabaster City Schools in Alabama. High-school students will start to take career-focused classes in academies that teach courses on fields such as sports medicine, while elementary students will participate in career days and similar presentations.
