AT&T lights up LTE-Advanced in Chicago

AT&T has deployed carrier aggregation technology in its Chicago 4G network, the first reported U.S carrier to use the LTE-Advanced technique in which two Long-Term Evolution networks are bonded to create a speedier service. The carrier confirmed the launch in several cities but identified only Chicago. Few subscriber can attain any benefits from LTE-Advanced because device makers have only begun to build support into their products.
