Disney Interactive axing workers, focusing on mobile

Even though Disney Interactive has turned to profit, the division plans to lay off 700 workers. The unit is also going mobile-first with game development while ending its in-house development of console games beyond what is already in the works. "[M]ost of our [new] game development will be mobile first," President James Pitaro said.
