ConAgra Reportedly In Talks To Spin Off Part Of Meatpacking Unit

A source says ConAgra Foods is discussing unloading a 51% stake of its meatpacking unit to a group of investors including Dallas-based Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. Analysts say the food conglomerate is looking to exit meatpacking operations to focus on its packaged-food units.
