Public Agenda Survey: Little Evidence Of Strain From Standardized Tests

Of the 600 students surveyed, 73% say they can handle the pressure of taking standardized tests, and 78% say teachers don't neglect other subjects to focus on test preparation. The results challenge assertions that a backlash would develop if states use standardized testing as a way to raise the academic bar.
