Food companies change strategies for Asian market

Cereal and canned soup aren't particularly popular in Asia, so the largest U.S. food companies including Kellogg, Heinz, General Mills and Campbell Soup are conducting more research and exploring cultural food habits to find products that will hold appeal for Asian consumers. Products such as Haagen-Dazs are billed as luxury products and marketed to wealthier Asian customers.
