P&G: Old dog learning new tricks in pet food market

Business has fallen for Procter & Gamble Co.'s pet foods products -- which generate better growth margins than many other packaged-goods categories -- after years as top dog in the industry. P&G has developed a new strategy and restructured its management team to compete with growth by rivals Nestle and Colgate-Palmolive Co.
