Study: Atkins ranked No. 1 diet, despite criticism

The controversial low-carbohydrate Atkins diet is the winner in a study comparing four popular diets -- but nutritionists remain critical of the diet's toleration of fatty foods. The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, compared Atkins, the Ornish diet, the Zone diet and LEARN, a diet that discourages fat intake.
