Losses from European windstorm could reach nearly $2B

Catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide said losses from a severe windstorm that hit Central Europe on March 1 could reach nearly $2 billion. The storm hit Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the U.K., causing significant damage to residential buildings.
