Japanese electronics retailer to launch flagship store in China

Yamada Denki, one of Japan's largest consumer-electronics retailers, has signed an agreement to launch a flagship store -- its first outside of Japan -- in Tianjin, China. The 32,000-square-metre outlet will be located in the Binhai High-tech Zone. Yamada Denki operates 1,200 stores in Japan.
