Myrtle Beach sign ordinance to get flashy overhaul

City officials in Myrtle Beach, S.C., are hammering out changes to the city's sign ordinance that would allow new electronic signs to replace outdated changeable signs. Some in the town worry about the potential for going to far. "Myrtle Beach is notorious for taking a good idea and beating it into the ground, until you're left with the worst common denominator," said downtown merchant Chris Walker.
